Did I tell you that I’m getting married on a beach? Ha! Jokes. Of course you bloody know by now! This obviously means I need to buy more “holiday” clothes. Whoops!
Let’s face it, January is tough. Especially if you’ve given up booze and pizza. I’ve actually done none of those things but am trying to get through the month without spending all money in the second week. Here are a few things that I’ll be doing to keep me going. Go give ’em a try.
I am a massive fan of all things pom pom and tassel related, so it makes perfect sense that I’d want to incorporate them into our wedding somehow.
A couple of weeks ago I finally got round to sending off our wedding paperwork detailing all our wants, I got too excited and sneakily threw in a question about fireworks.
I’ve a very strong feeling that I’m quickly becoming one of those brides-to-be who does nothing but wang on about the boring, minute details of her upcoming wedding. I’ve gone from thinking that I’d never get married, to really caring about every little thing pretty much over night since getting engaged.
Wedding progress has been made people. I now have an actual date that I’ll be actually married on. I’m equal parts ecstatic and equal parts scared shitless. One thing is for sure, I need to get my wedding budget spreadsheet in order.
I didn’t spend any of my childhood dreaming about getting married. I never cared for a big white dress. Least of all I never thought I’d actually want to tie the knot, yet here I am, at 29 years of age, planning my own big day. Shocker.
As someone who never thought they wanted to get married, I’m ridiculously excited about starting planning my own. I’m hoping it isn’t breaking news to any friends or family members we’ve forgotten to tell but we’re planning on getting hitched on the beautiful island of Antigua. [Read more]
This weekend just gone, my family and I went to stay with my godfather in his Devon cottage. We went to two beaches, had two barbecues and went back to Fingle Bridge, which was my Grandad’s favourite place and holds lots of memories. We also drank a lot of Pimms. I just so happened to take a couple of snaps.
